Looking for a way to relax without even having to leave your house? Why spend hundreds of dollars on spa treatments when you can create your own spa right in your own living room? Just pick a clean, peaceful and quiet room with pillows, music, and candles. Maybe invite a few friends and follow the tips below for a stress free homemade spa day!
Make sure there are a few healthy snacks available like fresh fruit and veggies, dried fruits and nuts, infused water and maybe a small fresh and healthy lunch that’s easy to put together.
Also make sure you have some fresh towels or robes and slippers for every person. You can prepare the treatments ahead of time or have your friends help you mix them up depending on what they want.
-Mix ½ and avocado and ½ teaspoon of honey. Apply to damp hair, put it up in a bun, leave it in for 1 hour and then rinse.
-Apply all natural coconut oil, leave in for as long as possible, rinse and shampoo until all the oil is out.
-For oily skin: Mix 1 teaspoon powdered skim milk, 1 teaspoon honey, a few drops of apple cider vinegar. Massage in circular motions and rinse with warm water.
-For dry skin: Mix 1 tablespoon of oat bran, 1 Tablespoon honey, 1 teaspoon cream. Heat and apply while warm.
-For sensitive skin: Mix 1 part baking soda, 2 parts ground oatmeal and combine with warm water.
-Soak feet in warm water and epsom salt
